What We’re Doing

When I came to the United States of America and read the Declaration of Independence, which stated that all men are

created equal, I thought to myself that this document could not be true. Deep down in my being, I thought and truly believed that I was less than equal and always viewed myself as low caste. I never thought I could offer anything to anyone. But after spending time in the USA, I realized what I was taught throughout my life in the villages wasn’t true; I am worthy of God’s glory and I was created equal by our Creator. The Declaration of Independence awakened a new spirit in me; I became a believer of it and what it stands for: ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL. I am now alive more than ever and am very excited to share my newly found love of life. I want to share with others like me, that life is worth living and we need not apologize for our existence. I now look forward to living a very long life so I can offer my time, talents and treasures to wherever I am called to serve in the name of God.
